Treadmill Exercise Stress Test
Treadmill exercise stress test is a non-invasive test. It records changes in electrocardiogram waveforms before, during and after exercise to evaluate the heart capacity, exercise tolerance, and can expose the problem of cardiac ischemia. By increasing the exercise intensity, it increases the demand of blood supply to myocardium so as to determine if any ischemic change or malignant arrhythmia. The test can also function as a fitness evaluation for cardiac patients.
