Prostate is a secretary gland of the male reproductive system.  Its main function is to produce fluid for semen.
The incidence of prostate cancer has been increased from 683 cases in 2000 to 1,484 cases in 2009 the increment is 117%. Nowadays, Prostate cancer becomes the 3rd commonest men’s cancer in Hong Kong, just after Lung cancer and Colorectal cancer .
When there is elevated Prostatic Specific Antigen ( PSA ) serum level  > 4 ng/L or abnormal finding in Digital Rectal Examination, Transrectal ultrasound Guided Prostate Biopsy is the gold standard to diagnose prostate cancer .
