Intravesical BCG Immunotherapy
It is a treatment for patients with high grade Ta – T1 bladder tumour.
The treatment is prescribed after Trans-Urethral resection of bladder tumour. Bacillus-Calmette Guerin is instilled via urethra into the bladder to stimulate the response of body immune system to eradicate the cancer cells and decrease tumour recurrence rate .
