Cystoscopy is a procedure using a flexible endoscope of ~6mm passing through the urethra into the urinary bladder. The direct visualization enables doctors to diagnose diseases, such as tumor, stricture and infection. Additional therapeutic procedures can also be performed at the same time, such as biopsy, dilatation, implantation or removal of stent.
