Capsule Endoscopy
Capsule endoscopy involves ingesting of a pill- sized video camera, to record as the capsule moves through the gut and lastly passed out from the body. It takes around 8 hours to complete the procedure. However, it serves the diagnostic purpose and no intervention procedure or biopsy taking can be performed. Please inform your doctor for any Pacemaker implantation, history of diabetics, renal disease and signs of intestinal obstruction, such as abdominal pain and vomiting.
